Organic Binder

Due to the scarcity of good plastic clay in India, adequate green strength during the tile manufacturing process is now-a-days achieved by the addition of a suitable organic binder to the tile body slip.

The bond D37 binder is designed to provide optimum strength without raising the slip viscosity significantly. Its multi-component design also allows the green tile to flex on conveyors without leading to any breakage.

Salient Features

Minimum change in slip viscosity

High green strength

Its ductile component allows for breakage-free movement of tiles on the conveyor

Easy to mix

Excellent burn-out in both air and nitrogen

Wet Processing of raw materials for Ceramic Tiles, Sanitary ware, Pottery & Ceramic Items

Direction For Use

Charge raw materials, water & Sodium Silicate /Organic dispersant SDM-36/STPP into ball mill for slip preparation.

Add Bond D37

in the final slip of ball mill before discharging

in the storage tank.

Recommended Dosage

Vitrified Body Slip - 0.3 to 0.5 %

Glaze Body Slip - 0.1 to 0.3%

However, trials should be conducted to determine the optimum dosage of Bond D37 in ceramic slurry as it is dependent on the body composition & the clay quality.
